What is it?

What is a Keratin Lash Lift?

You can ditch the DIY lash curler and mascara and with just one 30-50 minute professional treatment you'll have a sumptuous Keratin Lash Lift that is retained, even after a shower or swimming, that can last 6-8 and even 12 weeks!

Our Keratin Lash Lift technicians use a technique combining a Keratin lifting lotion and silicone rods to lift your natural eyelashes, making them look longer and fuller. Keratin Lash Lift is a fantastic alternative to eyelash extensions and there's virtually no aftercare required!  Just wake up and get going with your beautiful lashes.

What to expect

The procedure is totally painless and very relaxing. Your eyes will be  closed for the entire treatment and although it may feel a little strange being unable to open your eyes for this time, it offers you a chance to relax during the treatment, so let all your cares and worries melt away. The processing times may vary slightly depending on eyelash hair types. The procedure can take anywhere from about 30-75 mins. Maybe a  little longer if you decide to have your eyelashes tinted which will  enhance the effect of your lash lift.

How long does it last?

Depending on the length, condition, and shedding cycle of your lashes,  the lash lift can last up to 6 - 8 weeks or longer, but can vary from  person to person. There is no need for any maintenance appointments in between but it is recommended having the process repeated every 6 -8 weeks to lift the new hair growth. There are some situations that may cause the lift to drop/weaken prematurely such as swimming, use off  harsh products or heat. If you find that your lift does not last the full 6 weeks, you can repeat the treatment after a minimum of 6 weeks  of having the initial treatment, but not before.

Any side effects?

During the process, the product never touches your skin. Redness  around the eye may occur due to the product removal process (wiping eyes with cotton rounds), but should disappear within a few minutes after the procedure. Very few people have a reaction to the lotion but that doesn’t mean you won’t be one of them. What one person reacts to, another is fine  with. This is why you can opt to have a patch test 48-72 hours beforehand. If you are unsure, please contact me or schedule an  app

ointment for a patch test. IMPORTANT! If you have had any known eye disorders in the past, please discuss this with me at the time of booking.

How often can I have a lash lift?

A lash lift will begin to naturally drop after about 6 -8 weeks and your lashes will be back to their natural look. You can repeat the treatment after a minimum of one month if you feel you need to, or you can wait until they are back to their natural state. I do recommend that  you re-lift your lashes every 6- 8 weeks to maintain the Lash Lift.

Can I wear make-up after my lash lift?

Yes, but please leave your lashes untouched for at least 24 hours after  your treatment. You may find that there is no need for mascara anyway,  but if you wish to make your lashes even fuller, after 24 hours non-waterproof mascara is recommended as the removal of waterproof mascaras can be harsh on the lashes and weaken the lift. *waterproof mascara is NEVER recommended for this treatment.

How do I clean my eyes?

Gently, using mild products. Avoid cleansing the eye area for 24 hours.

Can I use an eyelash curler?

No. There will be no need for an eyelash curler as this treatment gives a  much better result than using a curler. But more importantly, using one may weaken and damage your lashes.

I wear contact lenses, can I have this procedure?

Yes. However, you will be asked to remove them temporarily during the treatment, as the eyes will be closed throughout.

Can a Lash Lift be used to compliment other treatments?

Yes! A lash lift is enhanced when you use an eyelash growth product,  such as Babe Lash. While your lashes grow longer, our  process controls straight or overly curly lashes by giving them a  uniform lifted look. Black eyelash tint may also be applied as another  service during the treatment to enhance the look of your lashes.
